Our NABIM8 Series Air Brake Tubing Union is an SAE J246/SAE J1131-compliant fitting designed for use with copper or copper-alloy tubing. Its unique design is constructed with a seamless solid brass body fabricated from one piece of metal for a permanent, leak-proof connection. This 40 series fitting also features a self-sealing thread sealant and will withstand pressures to 200 PSIG at temperatures from -20° F to 200° F. The 62NAB & 62NTA are D.O.T./FMVSS571.106 compliant, and the 1462 & S762AB are manufactured in accordance with SAE J246 & SAE J1131.

This product is a single piece union for connecting the two lines together and ensures that no air leaks out of the system. This eliminates expensive fittings, which are prone to leaks, rust, and corrosion. It is designed for use in tandem brake systems on trucks and trailers requiring pressure control valves, surge torque compensators and accumulators (boots). Each unit is manufactured from Type 304 stainless steel and meets or exceeds SAE J1131 specifications.

This union is a single-piece, internally bonded tube and fitting combination that is used to fit between two lines of different sizes. Union ends feature an integral gasket encased in a brass body for superior strength and durability. Brass bodies can be used with steel or aluminum tubing.
