The S3326 series short connector adopts the external thread design of NPT (National Pipe Taper) American tapered thread. NPT thread has a certain taper in the axial direction. This design makes the threads gradually fit together during the tightening process, and finally achieves the double sealing effect of "mechanical locking + metal contact sealing". Compared with straight threads that only rely on gaskets or sealants to achieve sealing, tapered threads have stronger self-locking, better sealing, and higher pressure resistance, which is especially suitable for pressure-bearing systems and industrial applications with high requirements for gas-liquid sealing.
Stainless steel close nipple S3326 is extremely compact in design. The whole body is a short external thread pipe section, and both ends are standard tapered threads, which can form a minimized connection between two internal threaded pipe fittings. Its "short-circuit" feature can: minimize the distance between the two pipes to make the system layout more compact; reduce the complexity of the pipeline and the number of dead corners, which is convenient for maintenance and cleaning; save installation space, which is very suitable for restricted scenes such as instrumentation, dense equipment areas or closed shells; improve the fluid efficiency of the pipeline system and reduce pressure loss and energy consumption.
Using standardized NPT threads, stainless steel close nipple S3326 can be connected with various internal threaded pipes such as stainless steel, copper, PVC, PTFE, etc., with strong interchangeability and versatility. In practical applications, it is often used in conjunction with components such as ball valves, quick connectors, filters, instrument valves, etc. to form a flexible and modular fluid system structure.
In systems with high pressure, high vibration or frequent start and stop, whether the joint is reliable is directly related to the safety of system operation. S3326 forms a firm bite through tapered threads, which can provide basic metal sealing capabilities even without sealants or raw tape; after being supplemented with sealants, it can significantly enhance the anti-leakage ability, which is suitable for various high-condition connection environments such as oil pressure, air pressure, and water pressure systems.
The stainless steel close nipple S3326 has excellent temperature and pressure resistance. Its operating temperature range covers -53°C to 121°C (-65°F to 250°F), which can adapt to a variety of industrial environments, including high-cold areas, normal temperature workshops, and even intermittent high-temperature pipeline systems. In key systems such as grease transportation, refrigerant circulation, hydraulic control, precision instruments, and fuel, liquefied gas and natural gas, this product can show stable sealing performance and reliable connection strength.
Under special orders, S3326 can also be used for the transportation needs of media such as fuel oil, liquefied petroleum gas (LP) and natural gas, providing high-standard accessories support for industries such as energy, chemicals, mining and municipal facilities.
The S3326 series connectors are made of high-quality stainless steel (commonly 304 or 316 grades), which not only have excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, but also can maintain stable performance for a long time in environments such as salt spray, damp heat, weak acid and alkali. Compared with carbon steel or copper connectors, stainless steel has more strength advantages in high-pressure fluid systems, avoiding hidden dangers such as deformation, cracking or corrosion leakage caused by long-term use. Especially in the pharmaceutical, food processing and fine chemical industries that require high hygiene levels or chemical stability, the corrosion resistance and non-toxicity of S3326 make it an ideal connector in the pipeline system.

These models fully cover the common interface requirements from micro-precision instruments to medium-sized fluid delivery pipelines, and can be flexibly combined in a variety of pipeline connection systems to achieve end-to-end connection with minimized installation distance and maximum strength.
The external thread design of S3326 is not only convenient for quick manual tightening, but also suitable for automated assembly or batch assembly. It has a compact structure and one-piece molding, without the need for additional sealing rings or welding processing, high on-site construction efficiency, and easy disassembly and replacement after installation, significantly reducing maintenance costs. In addition, the joint has a high finish and a flat internal diameter, which can minimize fluid resistance and improve the overall efficiency of the system.
