The hose bib drain valve is a brass hose bibb with a male inlet. The shape is angled to help avoid a kinked hose. This valve is not intended to convey water for human consumption.

Drain valves provide a means of draining water from the supply line to prevent freezing in cold weather, or to flush accumulated sediment from the system. Available from 3/8” to 1-1/2” with durable plastic or stainless steel handles.
The Hose Bib Drain Valve is designed to prevent water from freezing inside the spigot when unattended. The manual valve has a handle that can be turned off to stop the flow of water, and is self-draining.
