Air brake hose assemblies meet or exceed SAE J1402 Type A. This is the most common specification in trailer/truck systems, especially when used on single disc and drum brakes. The assemblies are produced to DOT FMVSS 106-Brake Hoses and 49 CFR 571.106, which are specifications for non-integral reinforced rubber brake hoses that may be repaired without destroying the entire assembly.
Air brake hose assemblies are designed to provide flexibility, coiled and stationary hard service, high temperature resistance and good elasticity. The properties of our air brake hoses are compatible with hydraulic oil, synthetic/natural rubber, steam, water and similar liquids and gases.
