1 Introduction

The research and application of computer simulation of hydraulic components and systems has a history of 30 years. With the development of fluid mechanics, modern control theory, algorithm theory, reliability theory and other related disciplines, especially the rapid advancement of computer technology, hydraulic simulation technology has become increasingly mature and has become a powerful tool for hydraulic system designers. In view of the development of hydraulic simulation technology at home and abroad before the end of the 1990s, predecessors have already introduced more. This article will not go into details, but will focus on recent development and future directions.

2. Modern hydraulic simulation technology and software

Starting from the early 1970s, foreign countries began to conduct computer digital simulation research on hydraulic systems and components, and my country began to conduct simulation research on hydraulic systems and components from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. After decades of research and development, the performance of the hydraulic simulation software package has been developed from the original low precision and slow speed to high precision and fast speed; from a linear system that can only handle single input and single output to multi-input , Multi-output non-linear system; from complex programming and input development to interactive and friendly graphical user interface, etc. have been greatly improved. Especially in recent years, hydraulic simulation technology in foreign countries, especially in Europe, has been developed rapidly, and various old-brand hydraulic simulation software have launched new versions. Such as the British Bathfp, Sweden's Hopsan, Germany's DSH + and so on. In addition, some integrated system simulation software that is good at hydraulic simulation has also achieved great commercial success. Representative examples are France's AMESIM and Boeing's Eay5.

As hydraulic system simulation software packages, whether developed by commercial software companies or university research institutions, they have existed for a long time, but they are beginning to be widely used or relatively recent.
